Victoria (Seun) Tuyo, Registered Psychotherapist
B.Eng, MSc., Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology

Welcome! I’m Victoria.
Life transitions—whether personal, professional, or relational—can be overwhelming. They can leave you feeling anxious, stuck, or disconnected from yourself and others. If you’re struggling with uncertainty, emotional distress, or relationship challenges, you don’t have to navigate it alone. I provide a warm, compassionate, and non-judgmental space where you can gain clarity, heal, and move forward with confidence.
Before becoming a therapist, I spent over a decade in the corporate world and have lived in Africa, Europe, and North America. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of cultural identity shifts, career transitions, and the unique challenges of immigration, including acculturation, discrimination, and systemic barriers. I know firsthand how these experiences can impact self-worth, relationships, and overall well-being, and I am passionate about helping individuals and couples reclaim their sense of direction and fulfillment.

Therapy for Individuals & Relational
I work with individuals navigating stress, anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and major life changes. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), I help clients break unhelpful patterns, build resilience, and create meaningful change.
For couples, whether you’re feeling disconnected, struggling with trust, or caught in repetitive conflict, I help partners strengthen communication, heal attachment wounds, and restore emotional intimacy. I draw from evidence-based modalities, including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), the Gottman Method, and Couples Therapy Intensives providing a supportive and structured space for you to reconnect and grow together.
Professional BackgroundI hold a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University, and I am a professional member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I am also a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). My previous career in market research and engineering has shaped my analytical and problem-solving skills, but my true passion lies in guiding individuals and couples toward lasting change and emotional well-being.
