Hi there! Are you feeling overwhelmed? Are your coping reactions causing you diistress? I'm a warm and caring professional who connects well with people struggling with complex issues. I have special skills in helping people overcome bad habits and change unhelpful coping behaviors as I was trained in addictions. I've done a lot of additonal training in understanding and supporting people with trauma, and I am non-judgemental. I come from a South Asian background and understand the impact that culture, race and diversity in general can present in feeling stuck and in navigating change. I'm a mom and have a good understanding of the challenge of raising young kids while working on education or career and can help with work/life balance and managing stress. Most clients who are drawn to me appreciate that I am direct and goal oriented with them, but I am also patient and aware of the time it can take to create measurable differences due to the systems we live in and our social networks. I've work well with people who felt other therapists supported them but did not help them make measurable progress.

Some challenges we cope with well on our own, building strength and resiliency. Unfortunately, there are some challenges we cannot face alone. I therapy I aim to create safe emotional spaces to help people explore, cope with, or overcome difficulties towards self-acceptance, peace, empowerment, and healthier relationships. My process for sessions involves supporting people to be able to express and understand feelings, develop new ways of thinking or behaving, and skill development for stress management and behavioral change. I help clients feel validated and supported during your difficult times with active listening and goal-oriented therapy focused on experiential change. My methods include narrative therapy, CBT, CPT and DBT. I have supported many clients over the years in overcoming trauma and maladaptive behaviors for more functional and meaningful living.
